Neferkare o Kaneferre?

Nella tomba di Ankhtifi (X dinastia) è stata trovata la seguente iscrizione:

Horus porta/portato (o può Horus portare) una (buon) inondazione per suo figlio Ka-Nefer-Re

Gli egittologi hanno proposto di identificare Ka-Nefer-Re con Neferkare (Nefer-Ka-Re), non so se ritenendolo un errore o una possibile variante.

Ho visto che è successo qualcosa di simile per il periodo della V dinastia dove il faraone Neferkare nella lista di Saqqara è chiamato Kaneferre

La tua domanda è molto tecnica e necessita di ulteriori informazioni.
Innanzi tutto un eventuale cartiglio su cui fare raffronti.
Se invece si ha solo il testo che citi è difficile orientarsi per le troppe similitudini nei nomi.
Ti segnalo un testo della tomba, non sia che lo spezzone da te proposto derivi da qui, anche se non
mi sembra sia citato un nome di sovrano ?

Questa di seguito è un immagine che ho trovato sul web del cartiglio presente nella tomba di Ankhtifi

La tua domanda è: Neferkare o Kaneferre ?

Come sola indagine visiva espressa dal cartiglio che hai inserito e che ho trovato anch’io:



e cui il testo sembra dire: : "Horus porti una, inondazione (lett. il Nilo= Hapy[var.] a suo figlio Kaneferre (Neferkare ?). che ispeziona ogni navigazione ? (lett. l’ acqua)."
il risultato spontaneo dato dal testo, è che la lettura sia Ka-nefer-ra = Kaneferra/e

Tutti gli esempi che riporto, e che vanno dalla 2° alla 9/10 dinastia, hanno D28 e F35 scritti in modo inverso. In questa tipologia vengono TUTTI letti e trascritti: Nefer – ka – ra = Neferkara/e.

Questo di seguito è il cartiglio di Neferkare della V dinastia nella lista di Saqqara (n. 30):



C'è scritto Kaneferre, non so se si può parlare di errore di scrittura.

Il cartiglio da te citato è una variante del nome del sovrano Neferefra, 5° sovrano della V dinastia.
In teoria è possibile leggerlo Kaneferre, ma la scrittura è leggermente diversa ed è data da N28 – xa(i) (la i finale?). Questo segno è letto Kha (h centrale), e la k è inserita per permetterne la lettura di questo tipo di h, Khaneferre o Chaneferre,

Scusa Nec perché dici che è una variante? Nella sua tomba è stato trovato un sigillo con i suoi nomi ma Khaneferra non compare

Quando uso la parola "varianti" mi riferisco al modo di scrivere un termine.
In questo caso si tratta del nome di "intronizzazione" del sovrano ossia il nome personale
assunto al momento dell'ascesa al trono. Ne ho trovati tre tutti dissimili, che allego:

Scusa Nec visto che anche Sobekhotep IV porta il nome Khaneferra ti sono note variazioni anche per lui?
Aggiungo visto che gli studiosi pensano che il Khaneferra di Ankhtifi si probabilmente Neferkare III o il II, ci sono varianti di questi ultimi che ci riportano al nome Khaneferra?
